Hi everyone!

 

During the many years in my career as a barrel racing competitor and a lifetime rodeo cowgirl, my love for the fashionable part of this lifestyle has only increased.

I grew up in the cowboy community in Belgium, I've traveled to many different places in the world to compete and I've spent quite some time learning the job and the sport in Texas, USA.

 

Through the years, I've created my own clothing style with unique items I bought during my travels.

People started asking me frequently where I bought certain clothing or jewelry. They were clearly inspired by my colorful, bohemian cowgirl appearance!

 

Whenever I am home from my adventures, I give training for Western horseback riders and their horses. Their love for the horse, the cowboy lifestyle and their interest in my fashion advice, encouraged me to turn my dream into reality. With a clear vision about the style, the colours, materials and certain items, I managed to launch my own rodeo, Western & bohemian clothing project 'Maxine's Closet' in the spring of 2022.
